Landscape Commissions
I prefer to travel and paint from life, or from a combination of photographs and life. If the lighting and image resolution are acceptable I can also paint from photo references you provide. Prices below are approximate because the size of the painting will often be adjusted to compliment your decor. Travel expenses are estimated on an individual basis.

Portrait Commissions
I prefer to paint from reference photographs that I take myself. I keep the photo session lively and fun, and limit it to two hours or less-especially when working with kids. Photos can be taken at your home or another location. After the photo session, we'll review the digital images and choose the best for my painting reference. As work progresses at the studio, I'll email photos of the developing painting. Your feedback will be invaluable as I make the final adjustments that bring the portrait to life. For group portraits, the fees below increase by 50% for each additional figure.

All fees are for unframed artwork. Framing style and cost is determined as the commission progresses. After the painting is complete, photos will be emailed for your approval. Afterward, your artwork will be framed, insured, packed and shipped to you in time for your unveiling. Crating and shipping charges vary by state and will be determined after you decide on the size of the painting.
I ask a 50% deposit at the start of the commission and the remaining 50% upon delivery of the completed painting.
